Child Predator Unit Arrests up to 2,000

The Attorney General announced that the 2,000th arrest has been made by the Cyber Crimes and Fugitive units that Abbott made in 2003.

Drug Arrest Reveals Trafficking From Bakersfield to Austin

57-year-old Adan Montalvo and his 31-year-old daughter, Christina, were arrested Tuesday for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine.
Christina Montalvo allegedly mailed several Toy Story 3 toys, in which methamphetamine was hidden, to Austin. Adan Montalvo has previously been arrested in 1993 when police raided his ranch while he was away visiting a girlfriend in the Texas capital.

Father and Son File Complaint Against Hays County Sheriffs Office Deputies

APD Releases No Refusal Weekend Results

APD’s No Refusal Weekend results remain consistent with those at this time last year. The Police Department chooses big party weekends to implement the program.
KVUE reports that, “During the overnight hours between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, Austin police made 24 suspected DWI arrests.”
