A man in South Texas was found with nearly $2 million in cocaine last week.
A 26 year-old South Texas man was hauling a tractor trailer that was carrying almost $2 million in cocaine late last week when he was caught during a Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force Operation.
Ruben Perez Jr. was charged with possession of a control substance after being caught on October 16 in Fort Bend. Perez was driving a tractor trailer along U.S. Highway 59 North near Hamlink in Rosenberg when authorities checked the trailer and found about 150 pounds of cocaine concealed in the back.
Perez’s bond has been set at $150,000.
