Over the weekend, a woman stole a police car and took it on a 30 minute joy ride. The car was left parked in an alley near 5th and Colorado locked and running. However, the window was left cracked. The woman managed to unlock the car and drove off.

Around 10am Sunday, police began getting 911 calls about the police car because the woman was turning the lights on and off. Police used GPS to track the car and found the woman at a Chase Bank on Stassney. The woman was arrested and has been charged with theft.
