A SWAT standoff on Mopac ended on Monday afternoon with a man being taken into custody. The man was seen waving a gun by a passerby around 3pm at the Mopac and Loop 360 intersection. He was taken into custody about two hours later.

The man had been threatening to kill himself and the SWAT team was called in to diffuse the situation. He has been taken into custody, but there has been no word on any charges pending against the man for the incident.
