A Nashville, Tennessee man was arrested on July 2 in connection with a murder that took place in 1985. He was the ex-boyfriend of a woman who died in October of that year after being assaulted. The man was questioned at the time but was not listed as a suspect.

In 2007, anonymous tips led to the case being reopened. New leads were followed and the man was indicated. On June 30 this year, a Travis County Grand Jury indicted the man for the murder. He is currently in Tennessee awaiting an extradition hearing.
