SWAT Standoff on Mopac Ends

A SWAT standoff on Mopac ended on Monday afternoon with a man being taken into custody. The man was seen waving a gun by a passerby around 3pm at the Mopac and Loop 360 intersection. He was taken into custody about two hours later.

Police Investigate Double Murder

Kino Flores Indicted

Austin Energy Employee Charged with Possession

On Tuesday, Westlake Hills Police pulled an Austin Energy truck over for driving 44mph in a 30mph zone. According to the officer who stopped the truck, there was a distinct odor of marijuana eminating from inside.
