An Austin woman has been arrested for stealing an urn containing the remains of her neighbor’s husband. The woman allegedly forced her way into the neighbors house trying to find a necklace that she had previously given away.
When the woman learned that the neighbor no longer had the necklace, she stole the urn containing the husband’s ashes and smashed it in a ditch. The woman is now being held under $20,000 bail and is facing an outstanding warrant for her arrest from Oregon in 2002.
