Man Facing Charges for Threatening Police

June 4th, 2009 · No Comments

On May 14, a man was arrested for allegedly making calls to 911 and threatening the police. The calls came in retaliation to a shooting death on May 11 in which an officer shot a man outside Walnut Creek Apartments on Springdale Rd.

The man was charged with making a terroristic threat when he was arrested. He is now facing additional charges of making a false report for telling the police that an officer had been shot in an alley between two apartment buildings. He may be facing over 10 years in prison.
