An Austin man has been arrested for a string of burglaries that started in December. The man has been charged with three dozen burglaries and will probably be charged with about another dozen in the near future.
The man allegedly burglarized 15 to 20 stores per week starting in December. He never harmed anyone in any of his burglaries, and the total amount stolen in any given robbery was under $200. Police believe that the man used the money to buy drugs.
