An Austin couple has been arrested in connection with the murder of Christy Lynne Espinosa. The couple allegedly killed her and then burned her corpse by the side of the road south of Decker Lake on February 25.

According to court documents, the couple met Espinosa the night before at Mardi Gras celebrations on 6th St. Each says the other killed Espinosa after she passed out. The couple then allegedly bought some gasoline and set her body on fire at the Imperial Drive.
