Former Teacher Indicted in Drug Case

October 7th, 2008 · No Comments

30 year old Ryan Ashley Glenn of Lubbock, TX, was indicted Monday on charges of possession of heroin with intent to sell. Local residents have been following his case since he was first arrested late in July 2008. His arrest occurred after a postal service employee called police to report drugs found in a package that Glenn was trying to mail. Police searched Glenn’s apartment later that day and allegedly found heroin, other drugs, and various drug paraphernalia. They later recovered fifty marijuana plants from a home that Glenn owned and was in the process of renovating. Prior to his arrest, Glenn was a teacher at a local high school and an athletic coach to seventh graders. He resigned immediately after his arrest.
